Our Father

God the Father
The Our Father, also called the Lord's Prayer, appears in the Bible two times: in Matthew 6:9-13 and in Luke 11:2-4. The Our Father as I know it goes like this:

Our Father in heaven, holy be Your name,
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread,
forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
Do not bring us to the test but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Pater Noster (Our Father)

Pater Noster is the Latin version of Our Father. The prayer goes like this:

Pater Noster, qui es in
caelis: Sanctificetur
Nomen Tuum; adveniat
Regnum Tuum; fiat voluntas
Tua, sicut in caelo, et in terra.
Panem nostrum cotidianum
da nobis hodie, et dimitte
nobis debita nostra, sicut et
nos dimittimus debitoribus
nostris; et ne nos inducas in
tentationem; sed libera nos
a Malo. Amen
