Again, "Love One Another"

Today's reflection is on 1 John 4: 11-18. It's another reminder to "love one another." Here are the important points from this passage:

  • It tells us that although "no one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God lives in us, and His love spreads freely among us."
  • We know that God lives in us by His Holy Spirit, which He has given us.
  • "Those who acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in them and they in God."
  • We have reaced perfect love when "we are like Him in everything" and "expect with confidence the Day of Judgment."
  • "There is no fear in love.""Perfect love drives away fear, for fear has to do with punishment."
